Senior Engineer – Security Operations Center (SOC)

Permanent PositionOur client is looking for an experienced SOC Engineer to maintain and improve their cybersecurity posture by implementing security solutions as well as monitoring, detecting and containing incidents to minimize impact.Job Description
- Develop, implement and maintain IT security policies, standards and procedures aligned with frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO/IEC 27001.
- Conduct security assessments including vulnerability management, penetration testing and secure code reviews to identify risks and recommend remediation.
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity alerts and incidents, perform root cause analysis and coordinate containment and recovery actions.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application and compliance teams to provide security guidance, manage risk findings and strengthen system security posture.
- Lead security operations initiatives such as SOC/vendor management, security tool implementation and cloud security as well as drive security awareness programs and reporting.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field with at least 10 years of experience in information or cybersecurity.
- Strong experience in cloud security and enterprise platforms including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Solid understanding of security standards, risk management and regulatory frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27005, MTCS (Multi-Tier Cloud Security) and Singapore PDPA.
- Hands-on knowledge of security technologies including EDR/XDR, IAM, PAM, CASB, SASE, MFA, NAC and vulnerability management practices.

- Provide financial advisory and operational support to business units to ensure sound financial management and compliance with organizational policies.
- Support the implementation and follow-up of internal audit recommendations, working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure corrective actions are completed in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with central finance teams and operating units to implement financial procedures, policies, and internal controls effectively.
