Equity Advisory Specialist - Private Banking

Permanent PositionOur client, a leading bank is seeking a highly skilled Equity Advisory Specialist to join their Private Banking team. This role requires a deep understanding of equity markets, investment strategies, and client relationship management within the context of wealth management.Job Description
- Conduct comprehensive coverage of global equity markets to identify investment opportunities for direct equity and equity-linked structured investments.
- Collaborate with RMs and ICs to promote investment ideas and deliver customized client solutions.
- Collaborate with CIO to develop a house view on multi-asset portfolios and asset allocation strategies.
- Assist in the formulation of Equity Focus List for internal and external clients with the aim of outperforming benchmarks.
- Produce daily market commentaries, regular equity reports, and updates on equity markets and recommendations.
- Integrate macroeconomic analysis and industry trends to generate actionable investment ideas in major markets.
- Actively participate in internal investment meetings to contribute insights and recommendations.
Salary Range: SGD 10,000 - 14,000Expires on 28 Apr 2024Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or CFA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in equity research or advisory, preferably within the private banking or wealth management industry.
- Deep knowledge of equity markets, investment products, and asset allocation strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and risk assessment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare financial and regulatory reporting
- Prepare Financial Disclosure Statement, Statistical Reports and Surveys as required by the regulators
- Perform month-end / year-end losings
- Assist in Taxation Function
- Support other accounting and finance functions when required

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
- Qualified accountant
- 10 years+ working experience in financial control and regulatory reporting

- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and being a good team
