  Job Description

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing product development team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
  • Define and execute comprehensive product development strategies that align with market demands and customer preferences 
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and innovations within the instant noodle and beverage industries to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Manage the full product development lifecycle, with particular emphasis on sourcing, selecting, and optimizing raw materials to enhance product quality.
  • Oversee rigorous product testing and evaluation processes to ensure taste, texture, nutritional value, and overall product performance meet stringent standards.
  • Provide expert guidance to cross-functional teams, sharing insights on raw material functionality and its impact on product formulation.
  • Serve as the company’s representative in dealings with suppliers, manufacturers, and other external partners related to raw materials and production.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Nutrition, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product development, product development methodologies and lifecycle management.
  • Experience in raw materials including flours, starches, fats and oils, flavors, sweeteners, and functional ingredients.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to effectively engage with stakeholders in the China market.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing product development teams. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating across diverse teams.
