    Job Description

    • Lead Accounts Receivable (AR) and working capital management to optimize cash flow, collections, and DSO.
    • Manage credit risk, bad debt recovery, and customer credit assessments.
    • Develop and enforce credit policies, procedures, and internal controls.
    • Lead the credit control team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve collection targets.
    • Resolve complex collection and billing disputes while maintaining strong customer relationships.
    • Review and approve credit limits, credit releases, and other credit-related requests.
    • Prepare and analyze AR, collection, and credit risk reports to support management decisions.

    Job Description

    Principal Responsibilities

    •        Provide leadership and financial expertise to address and seek opportunities for continuing growth and margin expansion.

    •        Work closely with business leaders to provide needed financial counsel and support for decision making, and in-depth financial and operational analysis to drive profitable and sustainable business growth and operation productivity improvement.

    •        Lead annual AOP and LRP (long range planning) processes and provide accurate and meaningful financial information and provide interpretive, value-added guidance in addition to standard reporting and data compilation required for the business to achieve its financial objectives.

    •        Ensure that proper processes are in place for the accurate forecasting of sales, costs, working capital, fixed capital investments and return on investment.

    •        Oversee credit and collection initiatives to ensure that credit policies are enforced throughout the organization and that timely collections are made.

    •        Assume responsibility for improving process efficiency and implementing cost controls/programs within the organization.

    •        Ensure that corporate reporting requirements are met in a timely fashion and in accordance with U.S. GAAP and other appropriate requirements, and that the business complies with components of Sarbanes-Oxley, especially for FICAP, SIC, SOX, FCPA and local statutory and tax requirement.

    •        Ensure all project recording and treatment (including booking/revenue, costs but not limited to them) are in line with relevant policies, LOA and processes

    •        Support other ad hoc financial professional tasks and projects in Malaysia/region

    Requirements

    •        Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance at least 3 years in Finance Manager from reputable company or 6 years for non-reputable company. Must have Chartered Accountant recognized by MIA

    •        Strong understanding of sales office business, commercial operations and corporate processes.
