  Our client seeks a professional to manage finance, accounting, tax, and planning for Asia subsidiaries, and to implement strategic initiatives and transformation projects for group objectives.
  Job Description

  • Partner with subsidiary leaders and finance teams to provide comprehensive insights and support.
  • Implement strategic finance and accounting initiatives aligned with regional objectives.
  • Set clear finance and accounting policies to improve efficiency and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Organization Finance and Accounting Division to meet business requirements.
  • Manage finance projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
  • Oversee operational risks and maintain accuracy in finance processes.
  • Review financial statements for compliance and recommend preventive measures.
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, planning, and reporting efforts.
  • Coordinate year-end audits and manage audit inquiries for timely approvals.
  • Develop effective tax strategies and ensure compliance with filing requirements.
  • Supervise treasury functions, focusing on cost-effective funding and risk management.
  • Provide financial analysis for investment decisions, including modeling and due diligence.
  • Improve accounting policies and internal controls for better operational efficiency.
  • Build finance team capabilities and foster professional development.
  • Participate in special projects and value-added initiatives.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; CA designation preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in finance and accounting, including tax and strategic planning.
  • 5+ years in the APAC region with multinational organizations.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and tax compliance in Singapore.
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing teams
