    Job Description

    • Introduce and sell company's solutions and services to both existing and new account prospects to achieve established goals and grow market share through solution selling.
    • Use and accurately maintain the company’s CRM system for all customer and sales process data to ensure teamwork, collaboration, and global transparency towards providing an amazing customer experience.
    • Develop direct customer relationships using deep understanding of customers business needs, production applications, and technical language utilized in their industry.
    • Use consultative sales techniques and solutions that are differentiated to improve customer production quality control and production efficiency.
    • Provide an amazing customer experience and accurately managing customer communications and relationship.
    • Identify and qualify business and customer opportunities and/or threats; understand the account potential, competitors, and position in the market and requirements for doing business.
    • Be responsible for new leads and potential opportunities for new and diverse product applications through continued product, industry, and client research.
    • Introduce company's new products, solutions, systems, and services with a sense of urgency and entrepreneurialism.
    • Develop strategic account plans for target customers and opportunities.
    • Pursue Sales Excellence, developing skills, knowledge, and competencies to continuously improve performance. Complete annual performance objectives and performance reviews with Supervisor.
    • Capitalize on development and training opportunities to position yourself for highest levels of performance recognition and continued career development.
    • Keep abreast of market and competitive activity; recommend actions in areas where competitor activities are having a negative impact on sales goals.
    • Participate in trade shows, prepare and give marketing/sales presentations to technical societies, etc.
    • Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.

    Requirements

    • Min. Degree in Engineering or relevant qualification;
    • 5 years or more fundamental sales management experience involving sales of complex, high technology industrial control products through direct sales, and/or regional distributors is required;
    • Prior technical industry experience outside of sales is preferred;
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a global mindset;

    Job Description

    1. To assist and support the Segment Sales Managers to identify a sustainable business strategy and develop plans to ensure sales growth and profitability in Malaysia.
    2. Serving Customer for Life - aim to increase the "share of wallet", grow with the customer and fulfill the key tasks of Business Development.
    3. High Agility - fast acting, knowing how to gain jobs out of a lead generation.
    4. Identify potential dealer/distributor and to create market needs in order to develop a strong distribution networks in Malaysia.
    5. Cultivate productive and effective teamwork with local and regional sales teams and with appointed dealer/distributor.
    6. Skilled in sales tactics and general understanding of sales & marketing concepts.
    7. Manage customers’ expectation and fulfilling customer’s orders and requirements.

    Requirements

    1. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant engineering professional qualification
    2. Minimum 2 years of experience on product and technical sales and marketing.
    3. Similar working experience in a multinational firm
    4. Product knowledge from HVAC, valve, mechanical components for building will be added advantage
    5. Account Management (Technical, Commercial, Execution , Aftersales Correspondence)
    6. Fluent in English, Malay and Mandarin will be an advantage
    7. Positive attitude
    8. The candidate must have either background from drinking water side or from building management system side or worked for a GC (general contractor) in project management for building technologies. Generally any involvement in execution of projects of automated BT systems is relevant.
