    Job Description

    Your main responsibilities will be to drive digital employee communications for Africa, Asia Pacific (AAP) by creating and coordinating online and digital media for the online social intranet platform in Singapore and the AAP region consisting of 11 markets.

     

    Social Intranet:

    • Responsible for monitoring the progress on the Daimler Social Intranet for all markets in the AAP region by coordinating with local and regional teams, as well and global colleagues.
    • Create and post relevant regional stories and content and monitor posting of content in the AAP markets for regional sharing.

     

    Weekly Regional Newsletter:

    • Creates regional content, monitors global communications and AAP market level communications for content to share at a regional level.
    • Creates dynamic weekly newsletter, including layout, photos and video using internal mass mailing platform.
    • Tracks and monitors readership analytics to improve readership and engagement.

     

    Writing/Editing/Creative Content Creation: Writes news stories, corporate announcements and other content.

     

    Social events, Great Place to Work and Corporate Social Responsibility:

    • Support initiatives that foster camaraderie and engagement among employees, such as Great Place to Work events.
    • Provide support for regional office Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and activities.

    Job Description

    Drawing upon the subject-matter expertise from the Centres of Excellence (customer experience, creative, digital and events), the role is responsible for product/solutions marketing, differentiated thought leadership, attributable content marketing, and alignment with distribution to deliver the fullest capabilities to both clients and brokers.

     

    Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, and to the CEO, this role is APAC's Marketing and Communications leader with regional responsibility and oversight of marketing and communications strategy, thought leadership, content marketing and sales enablement in support of the APAC business. You will be based in Singapore and oversee the APAC region and be rewarded with remuneration of up to $200,000 per annum on base and a variable bonus


    In this role, you will:

     

    • Mentor and teach APAC marketing and corporate communications team members about core marketing disciplines including audience targeting and segmentation, customer value propositions, campaign planning, and reporting and measurement
    • Develop best practices for demand-driven thought leadership, content marketing and social media campaigns that facilitate sales growth
    • Manage Regional media relations, including news releases and interviews, and issues and crisis management communications, and advise at a Country level as required
    • Create clear and compelling corporate narrative to articulate the APAC vision and strategic priorities to educate key internal and external audiences and support effective change management
