    Our client, an exciting startup in the space of renewable and clean energy, is seeking an experienced and dynamic candidate for the role of Business Development Manager, Solar.

    Job Description

    • Manage our BD engagements, either as a BD Manager or supporting the team to achieve targeted profitability, timeline and expectations/ deliverables.
    • Leads the evaluation, selection and implementation of appropriate *tools and methodologies to achieve the respective projects’ objectives
    • Act as a project manager in such projects, responsible for budget, planning and customer communication.
    • Develop and maintain a relevant network and contribute to the acquisition of new solar energy projects.
    • Carry out research and data collection to understand the process for developing projects in the target countries
    • Performa data/risk/business/financial analysis and integrate large volumes of data from various sources to create reports
    • Prepare reports, presentations, contractual letters and project plans
    • Plan and deliver workshops
    • Mentor and coach the local and regional team on development and project assignments

    Requirements

    • Degree in Energy, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related discipline. Candidates with a double degree in business, finance or economics an advantage
    • Experience in providing and developing Solar Projects and delivering the right metrics to the investors in the renewable energy sectors highly preferable.
