    Job Description

    Job Summary: As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and expanding the client base. The role demands a proactive approach to sales, with a focus on identifying and pursuing potential customers where you will utilize your industry knowledge and sales expertise to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:

      • Identify potential clients through market research, networking, and cold calling.
      • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads for LCL shipments and other freight forwarding services.
    2. Client Relationship Management:

      • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
      • Understand clients' logistics needs and propose tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
    3. Sales Strategy Development:

      • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
      • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead in the industry.
    4. Negotiation and Closing Deals:

      • Negotiate pricing and terms of service agreements with clients to maximize profitability.
      • Close sales deals and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
    5. Cross-functional Collaboration:

      • Collaborate with operations, customer service, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of freight forwarding services.
      • Provide feedback from clients to internal teams for continuous improvement of services.
    6. Sales Reporting and Analysis:

      • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue forecasts.
      • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities for improvement.
