    Job Description

    Medical Manager provides Scientific and Educational Medical support in a therapeutic area of Neurology to affiliate
    functions in relation to disease areas and products
    Medical Manager plans and execute Medical Strategy and Tactics to show the strong leadership as appropriate.
    Medical Manager supports the Head of MS Medical by conducting office based Medical activities.
    1. Medical Strategy and Tactics
    Planning and execution of Medical strategy and Tactics based on Global strategy, customer insight and unmet medical
    needs
    Collaboration with internal (MKT, R&D at al ) and external stakeholders
    2. Medical Information
    Support preparing managing and providing medical information in a therapeutic area of Neurology Including FAQs, Call
    center support, medical material, review for promotional material and medical training for commercial team et al.
    3. Medical Communication and Exchange
    Establish and maintain contact with Key Medical Experts(KMEs)
    Planning and execution of Advisory board and medical seminar
    4. Data generation & publication
    Planning and execution of congress publication and manuscripts about epidemiology and treatment in the therapeutic
    area of Neurology and Product
    Collaborative study, Post-marketing study
    5. Support life cycle management/ regulatory strategies
    Leverage (unmet) medical needs in order to support additional lifecycle opportunities based on patient needs on a rolling
    basis through the development cycle

    Bachelor’s Degree in science and technology
    Medical Manager (MM) Multiple Sclerosis (CNS, Neurology)/メディカル マネージャー 多発性硬化症(CNS, 神経内科)
    製薬でメディカル部門での経験がある(3年以上):Min 3+ years’ experience from the perspective of Medical Affairs

    Job Description

    ”The main purpose of this role is to refine and execute Patient Service Strategies developed primarily in conjunction with the medical team as well as the cross-functional brand teams. The role will drive the agreed upon strategy related to our services to patients through our MS Alliance partners or through interactions with hospitals, clinics or patient advocacy groups. Specifically, it will closely collaborate with medical and the brand teams and define what services we offer to patients for which brand, how to deliver those services, and then monitor and track the performance of those services. 

    The role includes managing our Patient Services partner and vendors who ultimately support and help drive optimal treatment outcomes for patients who have been prescribed our products in all therapeutic areas, including non-product specific progams. The role reports into the Associate Director, Medical Excellence & Operations, closely coordinating with the cross-functional brand teams to ensure we are compliant in our service offering. ”

    【Basic purpose of the job】

    ・ In conjunction with the Swine Sales Group, Key Account Management Group and Field Technical Service Group, responsible for developing product and brand strategy and plans and their implementation for the Swine product portfolio, to achieve established product sales goals. 

    <Accountabilities>

    ・ Contributes to the achievement of sales targets for Swine product portfolio by leading the development of marketing tactical plans and influencing their third party implementation for target products


    <Related Performance indicators>

    ・ Gathers and analyses information on market trends, competitor activities and customer needs considered useful for the development of effective marketing strategies and plans 

    ・ Shares information and concepts with Corporate Marketing to identify useful tools and techniques to support local marketing initiatives

    ・ In conjunction with the Swine Sales Group, Key Account Management Group and Field Technical Service Group, develops annual marketing communication plans designed to support the Swine sales function, including product positioning and key messages

    ・ Plans and organizes the day-to-day implementation of marketing plans, including and public relations materials, preparation of sales support materials, education materials for wholesaler representatives, dissemination of relevant market and technical information to sales representatives, organization of display materials for trade shows and conferences

    ・ Monitors progress of product sales to goal and implements contingency plans as required to address performance gaps. Reports monthly and ad hoc as necessary on key activities, issues and trends

    ・ Spends a significant amount of working time in the field with the sales team and independently to keep in touch with market trends and customer needs and in technical support

    ・ Tracks sales and market share trends against plan and amends strategies and tactics as required to maximize sales volume

    ・ Develops communications and promotional plans that optimize cost effectiveness

    ・ Participates in planning and implementation of action plans for key target accounts and opinion leaders

    ・ Works with the sales force and as a member of Key Account Management Group in development of goals and action plans for individual key accounts and key opinion leaders

    ・ Coordinates the development of sales support materials, special promotional programs and participates in the organization of special events for targeted key accounts and opinion leaders

    ・ Builds network with key authorities, partner companies, committees, and organizations playing an important role in decision making on product use

    ・ Participates in local project teams for new and in-line product development
