    Job Description

    You will be responsible for the development and implementation of a variety of operations digitalization projects. As the program lead, the role works closely as a key collaborator alongside cross functional teams to manage complex digitalization projects and deploy new or refined digital capabilities required to support our operations digital transformation strategy across the region. You will organize the team and drive successful outcomes by aligning the efforts to project plan and ensure timely project delivery. This role has extensive team management, cross-functional collaboration at every level and vendor management responsibilities.



    • Act as the program lead and serving as the thought leader & transformation champion for operations digitalization initiatives, driving change across the organization, building strong relationships with cross functional departments to drive successful outcomes;
    • Drive initiatives, align on priorities and deliver a comprehensive program plan including milestones that has clear, actionable and measurable benefits (e.g. key performance indicator improvements, change management and communication programs);
    • Support and liaise with cross-functional departments, ensuring all initiatives are focused on supporting the overall digital transformation strategy;

    Job Description

    • Liaising with development teams, consultants and internal teams to understand the project requirement/scope/needs
    • Convert the project scope into design to successfully meet the project needs as well as create competitive advantage through right design and selection
    • Ensure the design compliance to the local standards, regulation, codes and safety requirements

    Our Client, a global manufacturing company is seeking a dynamic candidate for the role of Automation/Digitalization Project Manager, Asia. This is a newly create role that requires the person to lead or drive the company’s vision of preparing the company in the Asia region towards a smart factory environment by 2020.

    Job Description

    • Responsible for meeting the company’s goal of enabling the company to become a smart factory and bridging the gaps by coming up with different digitization programs.
    • Responsible for assessing the risks involved in the various factory sites in Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, China, Korea) for automation and digitalization program.
    • Responsible for influencing the stakeholders across their Asia’s business and having their buy in for the automation/digitalization program.
    • Responsible for identifying areas within the business that are labour intensive and that can be automated or digitalized with the aim of reducing costs and headcounts.
