Senior Financial Analyst

Permanent PositionOur client is seeking for experienced Senior Financial Analyst.Job Description
- Assist in all other ad hoc requests which require financial modeling, scenario analysis and simulations.
- Own the monthly forecasting process covering manufacturing spending, product costs, other COGS as well as production inventory.
- Own the Semi-annual standard cost change process of costing parts, manufacturing overhead and simulations in SAP system.
- Drive Gross Margin Improvement Initiatives in manufacturing. Engage with Engineering, Operations, Service for target setting and reporting of results.
- Collaborate with Operations on Inventory Planning, Headcount Planning, managing of Operational expense drivers.
- Partnering and aligning with Ops Finance Peers in Singapore, Global Operations
- Ensure that finance policies and proper accounting rules are being followed consistently and SOX-compliant in all areas of responsibility.
- Responsible for the financial analysis of monthly actual results with comparisons to the forecast and engaging Operations to maximize efficiencies/ address issues.
- Continuous improvement mindset, partnering with different areas of the organization, identifying gaps, cost savings

- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a time sensitive environment

- Independent and critical thinker, fast learner and excellent eye for detail
- Degree in Accounting with minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience (with emphasis on cost accounting, forecasting and financial analysis in a manufacturing environment)
- Proficient in SAP and strong MS Excel skills

- Conduct thorough credit reviews of due diligence reports for corporate clients. Responsibilities include assessing compliance with regulations and the bank's policies, identifying primary risks, proposing risk mitigation measures, determining overall group credit risk, and conducting client credit ratings.
- Manage project flow by coordinating team members to ensure timely completion of credit analysis reports that meet quality requirements. Additionally, assist in departmental management, including staff supervision, fostering the development of specialized credit analysis experts in relevant sectors.
- Provide expert opinions for credit files submitted to the pre-trial committee.

- Credit Policy Enhancement: Review and enhance credit policies and procedures for retail and private banking businesses. Assist in identifying and mitigating risks associated with new business initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Lead the retail and private banking credit approval team within the Risk Management Department. Collaborate with various business units to ensure efficient processing of credit facilities.
- Credit Approval: Approve retail and private banking credit facilities within the delegated approval authority.
- Credit Facility Evaluation: Review and assess credit facility applications from business units, including credit cards, housing loans, premium financing loans, and other relevant financial products.
- Compliance: Ensure that credit applications align with the Bank's credit guidelines and meet regulatory requirements. If necessary, escalate applications for higher-level approval.
