  Job Description

  This position serves as a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for driving electrical engineering activities from design through commissioning.

   

  Job Description:

  • Design and optimize electrical packages such as transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS systems, power distribution panels, pumps, and chargers (LV & MV power system).
  • Perform system studies and prepare SLDs, cable sizing, load analysis, protection schemes, earthing studies, and layout drawings.
  • Prepare datasheets, specifications, and design documents, including lighting and lightning protection systems.
  • Manage vendor packages from technical bid evaluation through factory acceptance testing.
  • Oversee testing at fabrication sites and support commissioning activities on site.
  • Conduct bid evaluations, technical clarifications, and studies to ensure project progress aligns with expectations.
  • Improve internal engineering processes with minimal supervision required.
  • Lead & oversee engineering team performance, manage schedules, support communication with clients and stakeholders, and ensure alignment with financial and project objectives.
  • Work closely with clients, vendors, and key stakeholders to define deliverables, set achievable targets, and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation.

  Requirements

  Key Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in detailed electrical engineering within the energy, oil & gas, or power generation sectors.
  • Experience in EPCC project execution is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of international engineering standards and practices (such as IEC, ANSI, IEEE, ISA, API, NEMA, CSA, UL).
  • Ability to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations for electrical installation and design.
  • Proficiency with engineering design tools, including AutoCAD and ETAP, is an advantage.
  • Able to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Willing and able to travel as required for project needs.
