    Compensation, Senior Manager

    Our client is a leader in its industry, and they are seeking for a driven, tenacious Compensation Senior Manager to lead a team of 2 direct reports. This position will lead and assist in the development of the company’s compensation and policy design and implementation.

    Job Description

    Responsibilities include developing and standardizing processes and tools to deliver fair compensation to all employees. You will be working closely with the HR Business Partners as well as other functions within the Centre of Excellence. This is a golden opportunity to drive change management and transformation within a sizable organization. This position calls for someone who puts others above self and have the ‘heart” to serve the public.

    Responsibilities:

    • Overall responsible for the Compensation team.
    • Conducts salary reviews and benchmarking exercises for different employee groups, as well as various incentive schemes for all levels of employees.
    • Develop and drive strategies to ensure staff are remunerated competitively against market benchmarks to attract and retain quality staff.
    • Manages the Long Term Incentive for Senior Management, which includes budgeting, payment and recommendation on payout for approval by the Nominating and Remuneration Committee.
    • Perform secretarial duties for the Nominating and Remuneration Committee.  
    • Responsible for the Annual performance and incentive plan (APIP)/ Merit increment (MI) and staff benefits budgeting.
    • Partners Industrial Relation Team to front the APIP/MI negotiation with the Union.
    • Responsible for the performance management function, which includes the appraisal, calibration sessions and payment of APIP/MI to individuals.
    • Responsible for staff development and instilling professionalization in the organization.

    • Degree holder, with at least 12 years of HR experience
    • 5-8 years holding leadership role handling key HR functions.
