    Our client is a fast growing high-tech solutions provider focusing on the financial services sector. They are now looking for a high potential Strategic Planning & Business Development Manager to join their growing team in Hong Kong

    Job Description

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop strategic directions
    • Identify business growth opportunities, develop business cases and participate in decision making, able to connect with internal and external stakeholders to formulate strategy
    • Strong knowledge of Insurance, Internet, digital, social, data, etc. to inspire client and internal team to create innovative solutions for client’s business and brand challenge
    • Construct and facilitate productive workshops to foster collaborative solutions and alignment among participants from client, partners, and internal. Lead teams to solutions that delight the client, drive towards identifying commercial opportunities
    • Own and drive regular reports of BU business including but not limited to Manage Market Models, related business reports. Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership via a detailed assessment of the latest market trends
    • Build a healthy and sustainable relationship with a client. Track and update competitive intelligence regularly

    Requirements

    REQUIREMENTS

    • At least 10 years of experience in Fintech, Insurance relevant Industry
    • Bachelor’s degree or above (Ideally MSc, or MBA), with major in Insurance, technology, marketing, business
    • Strategic planning or business strategy development and portfolio planning experience. Ideally, with 5-8 years of working experience in a consulting firm or/and corporate strategy-related functions, including BD, marketing and insurance technology, or business management
    • Economic analysis skills, business acumen, including industry-specific knowledge and commercial risk management skills
    • Excellent negotiation skills.
    • Highly motivated, self-driven, open-minded. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and influencing (internal and external) skills
    • Ability to maintain effectiveness whilst under time and performance pressure.
    • Strong relationship building and management as well as networking skills
    • Good spoken and written English level, excellent communicator (spoken, written, and presentations)
    • Immediately available highly preferred
