    Our client is a leading chemical manufacturing company, is looking for a Senior / Specialist, Supply Chain Procurement to join their Shared Services team.

    Job Description

    • Implement the Regional Supply Chain Procurement Strategy collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Provide advise to stakeholders in refining and developing Scope of Work to the best practice in market.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to simplify and standardize SOP for the vendors.
    • Create and sustain a Business Continuity program for essential services.
    • Oversee and ensure compliance in all aspects of the procurement process.
    • Reduce overall Supply Chain Risks through conformance with Procurement Policy; compliance to EHSS standard and code of ethics.
    • Manage supplier performance, segment supplier base and routinely schedule and review suppliers’ KPI performance.
    • Coordinate all activities with Global and Regional procurement activities.
    • Support the tender activities.
    • Resolve the contract dispute and non-fulfillment services with the vendor.
    • Support special projects as requested.
    Salary Range: SGD 10,000 - 12,000

    • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering (Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical) or related fields.
    • Over 12 years’ experience in supply chain related roles, with a minimum of 9 years’ procurement experience within Asia.
    • Proficient in SAP and Ariba will be an advantage.

    • Oversee a set range of accounts in Malaysia & Singapore, focusing on expanding existing customers and attracting new ones in the Advanced Materials & Additives market segment.
    • Collaborate closely with the APAC Market Segment Director to identify and capitalize on additional opportunities in the region.
    • Meet set budgetary goals, with a strong focus on achieving turnover targets.
    • Drive sales and generate profitable margins by managing and expanding current business while targeting and securing new business opportunities.
    • Develop and understand the needs of a growing customer base by making regular visits to maintain and manage relationships with key contacts at all levels.
    • Gather and analyze relevant marketing and competitive information, proposing strategies to the Managing Director to optimize returns and achieve business growth.
    • Identify, analyze, and develop new accounts, promoting sales of existing, new, and developing products in line with business growth strategies.
    • Recommend new product range opportunities through market surveys.

    • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering or an equivalent qualification is required.
