    Job Description

    Their Singapore Regional Headquarters acts as the mission-critical hub for Asia-Pacific operations. This role offers a high-impact opportunity for a strategic "Hunter" to spearhead the regional launch of new products and expand the group’s footprint across multiple high-growth industrial market sectors.

    Roles and Responsibilities: The Regional Business Development Manager is responsible for promoting and developing sales for new product lines across Power Generation, Agriculture, Marine, and Industrial sectors through aggressive market engagement and strategic surveys.

    Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

    • New Product Launch: Lead the regional promotion of new power and industrial products across assigned territories and market sectors.
    • Market Intelligence: Conduct comprehensive market surveys to identify evolving customer needs and untapped commercial opportunities.
    • Direct Customer Engagement: Meet with key accounts and strategic partners to present technical solutions and drive regional sales growth.
    • Application Identification: Identify new applications for the group’s technology and pioneer new business opportunities in emerging markets.
    • Technical & Commercial Advisory: Lead high-level technical and commercial discussions with customers to ensure product-market fit.
    • Internal Alignment: Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to align global product offerings with specific regional market requirements.
    • Reporting: Provide regular strategic updates and market analysis reports to the Industrial Head of Department.

    Requirements

    • Education: Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Sales, Business, or a related field.
    • Experience: 5–8 years of experience in sales or business development for technical or OEM products.
    • Sector Knowledge: Prior experience in Generator Power Systems or Industrial Chillers is highly advantageous.
    • Mobility: Willing and able to travel extensively across the Asia Pacific and South East Asia regions.
    • Competencies: A strategic thinker with a strong commercial mind, capable of working independently and presenting with confidence at the executive level.
    • Soft Skills: Goal-oriented, enthusiastic about technical product solutions (including spare parts), and possessing excellent time management skills.
