  Our client is seeking a Financial Controller to manage financial operations, ensure accuracy and compliance, and lead a finance team to drive growth, with expertise in manufacturing accounting and cost management.
  Job Description

  • Work with senior management to define and implement financial strategies. Provide financial analysis to inform business decisions and identify potential areas for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
  • Oversee the preparation of key financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Analyze financial performance and offer insights to management. Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of tax returns.
  • Create financial strategies that align with business objectives. Prepare and evaluate financial forecasts, budgets, and performance reports. Assess financial risks and opportunities to optimize business performance.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts. Monitor budget discrepancies and provide recommendations to align with financial goals.
  • Review manufacturing costs, labor, and overheads to identify areas for savings. Develop and implement systems to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Design and implement robust internal controls to protect company assets.
  • Coordinate and manage both internal and external audits, ensuring issues are promptly addressed.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
  • Work closely with other departments to support business objectives.
  • Ensure effective management of liquidity and working capital. Optimize the use of financial resources and maintain strong banking relationships.
  • Leverage ERP systems to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency. Recommend and drive technological upgrades to streamline financial processes.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are highly desirable.
  • 10 years of progressive financial management experience, including 5 years in the manufacturing sector. With external audit experience will be preferably.
  • Strong expertise in consolidation, cost accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting in a production environment.
  • Proven experience in managing audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Proficient in ERP systems, especially SAP (FI/CO modules).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Highly analytical with a strategic, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to integrity in financial practices
