Their Singapore Regional Headquarters acts as the mission-critical hub for Asia-Pacific operations. Roles and Responsibilities: The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing high-quality technical and commercial support to distributors and end-customers, ensuring seamless project execution from pre-sales through to after-sales commissioning.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Technical Liaison: Collaborate with the global manufacturing headquarters on technical appraisals, engine performance issues, and complex engineering queries.
- Distributor Management: Monitor and track distributor sales performance to ensure regional budget targets are met, providing active support to drive their sales activities.
- Project Coordination: Oversee building schedules within shipyards and lead technical and commercial meetings with customers to ensure project alignment.
- Commissioning Oversight: Provide expert advice on commissioning schedules and supervise the entire process to ensure operational excellence.
- Sales & Marketing Support: Assist in the preparation and delivery of sales seminars, campaigns, and promotions targeted at distributors and end-users.
- Strategic Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Department Manager regarding project status, technical developments, and regional market feedback.

- Education: Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of the industrial sales process and maritime engineering principles.
- Communication: Fluency in both English and Chinese is required to facilitate communication with a diverse regional & Chinese-speaking stakeholder base.
- Professional Image: Meticulous attention to detail, high integrity, and the ability to project a professional, authoritative image to external partners.
- Mobility: Willing and able to undertake overseas travel for project coordination and distributor visits.

Roles and Responsibilities:
The Manager of the Marine Power Systems Division is responsible for steering the regional sales operations and achieving high-level commercial targets. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Regional P&L Ownership: Drive the division’s sales and profit targets, ensuring alignment with the Group’s mid-term strategic business plans.
- Strategic Market Development: Analyze regional maritime trends and competitor landscapes to develop sales policies and identify untapped growth opportunities.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary executive liaison for a network of major regional distributors, international partners, and the global corporate office.
- Financial & Operational Governance: Oversee divisional budgets, pricing strategies, and the implementation of robust SOPs and risk management frameworks.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Direct the Marine Marketing and Sales department, fostering a high-performance culture focused on results and professional accountability.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Manage complex customer requests and oversee the resolution of technical or commercial challenges within the regional market.

- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in industrial or capital equipment sales, with at least 6 years in a dedicated leadership or management role.
- Industry Focus: Proven track record in Marine propulsion, Power Systems, or Heavy Machinery industries is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and experience in implementing standard operating procedures and sales policies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills.
- Cultural Adaptability: Experience working within a multi-cultural business environment and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder requirements across the APAC region.
