  Senior Electrical Engineer

  Permanent Position

  Our client is looking for an experienced electrical engineer to ensure the technical integrity and reliability of electrical systems whilst providing maintenance and technical support to operations and projects.
  Job Description

  • Lead and supervise maintenance and reliability improvement programs for electrical equipment, especially in the Gas Engine Generator (GEG) area.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure consistent execution of electrical maintenance tasks.
  • Plan and execute minor CAPEX electrical projects in compliance with company guidelines.
  • Investigate electrical equipment failures, perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including government agencies on electrical compliance and technical matters.
  • Support major expansion projects from an electrical and operational perspective.
  • Collaborate with Licensed Electrical Workers to ensure integrity and safety of electrical systems.
  • Participate in emergency response activities and perform assigned electrical roles during such events.

  Salary Range: SGD 5,000 - 9,000

  Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience in electrical maintenance or design in oil & gas, petrochemical or power generation facilities.
  • Strong technical experience with high voltage electrical power systems.
  • Highly analytical with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in planning, executing and supervising maintenance activities and minor projects.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams and dynamic operational environments.
