  Our client is seeking an experienced Finance professional to provide financial advisory and operational support to operating units, ensuring sound financial management, compliance with internal policies and procedures, and strong team management.
  Job Description

  • Provide financial advisory and operational support to business units to ensure sound financial management and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Support the implementation and follow-up of internal audit recommendations, working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure corrective actions are completed in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with central finance teams and operating units to implement financial procedures, policies, and internal controls effectively.
  • Conduct periodic financial reviews to ensure appropriate and timely follow-up actions by operating units, including monitoring:
    
    • Long outstanding debts
    • Dormant accounts
    • Balance sheet accounts
    • Related funding matters
  • Review and ensure the accurate setup and maintenance of master data accounts for operating units.
  • Ensure effective budget and fund monitoring mechanisms are in place across operating units.
  • Oversee and ensure the timely submission of fund requisitions and grant disbursements in accordance with financial policies and deadlines.
  • Utilize data analytics to review financial processes, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous process enhancement.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, initiatives, and assignments as directed by management.

  Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accountancy, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a recognised university.
  • 6 to 9 years of experience in accounting operations, with strong team management capabilities.
  • Good knowledge of SAP financial systems, including project and fund modules. Familiarity with Power BI and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
  • Knowledge of audit processes and internal control procedures is preferred.
