What You’ll Lead
- Global Ops Oversight: Manage cross-border operations across APAC and the US, ensuring quality, uptime, and compliance.
- Hardware & Logistics: Lead supply-chain planning, inventory control, EOL tracking, tooling maintenance, and customer repair cycles.
- Software & Infrastructure: Oversee cloud services, SLA monitoring, cybersecurity scanning, and production deployments.
- Customer Support Systems: Own the 1st and 2nd line help-desk structure — ticketing, troubleshooting, and handoffs to technical/product teams.
- Team Leadership: Direct multi-disciplinary ops team and drive execution in tandem with QA/RA and Product.
- Field Execution: Oversee clinical trials support, product demonstrations, UAT validation, and regulatory documentation upkeep.
- Internal Systems: Spearhead development of in-house tools to optimize logistics, field data, and operational flows.

- Degree in Engineering or Life Sciences
- Minimum 8 years in healthcare operations with proven exposure to medical device manufacturing and regulatory workflows.
- Deep experience running cloud-based infrastructure operations (DevOps, cloud reliability, vulnerability scanning, SLA reporting).
- Demonstrated success managing distributed teams across hardware/software domains.
- Strong knowledge of APAC markets and willingness to interface with teams across time zones (US/APAC/ANZ).
- Open to occasional regional travel or short overseas stints as needed.

R&D Surgical Robotics Engineer

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, and software) to support the development and integration of robotic systems.
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of various system components, such as actuators, controllers, sensors, and other relevant parts.
- Support the creation and optimization of system features, including visualization, user interfaces, and real-time data processing.
- Assist with risk assessments, validation, and performance evaluation of system components.
- Help prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and other related materials.
- Support the design and development of mechanical parts and systems, ensuring precision and reliability in robotic instruments.
- Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts to ensure optimal system functionality and compliance with regulatory standards.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering (or a related field).
- Experience with surgical robotics through academic projects, research work, or internships.

- Knowledge of medical product design standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., IEC/IPC standards).
