  M&E Quantity Surveyor (Procurement, Reputable Developer)

  Our client is a reputable property developer with an established portfolio of award-winning residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. As part of their continued growth and project expansion, they are seeking an experienced M&E professional with experience in procurement contracts and M&E experience to join their QS team.
  Job Description

  • Oversee tender preparation, cost coordination, and contractual administration related to development and procurement works.
  • Work in partnership with internal stakeholders to plan and execute procurement strategies that support operational and project requirements
  • Ensure that M&E installations are delivered within budget.
  • Develop comprehensive project budgets and monitor financial progress throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate contract terms with suppliers, contractors and subcontractors
  • Coordinate closely with clients, architects and engineers to resolve any M&E related contractual disputes
  • Provide support during contractual discussions, ensuring agreements are properly reviewed, negotiated, and systematically maintained
  • Review and ensure all M&E works are in compliance with building and safety standards

  Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant M&E QS experience and/or supply chain related procurement in the construction industry 
  • Candidates with experience in A1 main contractors and in large projects are highly desirable
  • Candidates with limited or no prior experience in Quantity Surveying roles previously can be considered as well
