As our property footprints grew, we expanded into building materials trading, property investment and furniture manufacturing, while in 2008, we ventured into oil palm plantation in recognition of the sustainability of crude palm oil in the long run.Job Description
1) Implementation of Project Quality Plan (PQP) as per company SOP.
2) Plan, organize and lead project team to meet Company’s objective.
3) Communicate and direct project consultants to administer the overall site construction activities in accordance with contract documents.
4) Discuss and evaluate with project consultants pertaining to issuance of Design Change Request (DCR), Variation Order (V.O), prior to issuance of Project Manager’s Instruction (PMI) to project consultant and also after obtaining HOD/PD/MD/TTCM approval depending on amount of V.O.
5) Any issuance of extension of Time (E.O.T) must discuss and evaluate with project consultants and is to obtain Property Director’s approval prior to issuance of official E.O.T to contractor.
6) Verify the application form for stage of completion of building work.
7) Review and update quarterly stage billing schedule of building work.
8) Prepare fortnightly site progress report and presentation for Head of Project (HOP) Meeting.
9) Attend Head of Project (HOP) Meeting, Site Meeting(SM) and Client Consultant Meeting (CCM).
10) Monitor site work progress to meet targets in line with approved contractor’s work programmers and targeted HOVP.
11) Oversee project team’s duties and responsibilities to ensure that site works are carried out in accordance with contracts documents, construction drawings and specifications.
12) Evaluate contractor’s performance after obtaining CPC or as requested by QS Department.
13) Monitor safety, health and environmental regulations on site, in the support of company’s Safety Personnel.

Any other related duty as and when assigned by General Manager or Senior Project Manager from time to time.
15) To ensure the project deliveries are on time, within budget and required level of quality.
16) Prepare and write reports on the project for Management Team.17) Set up project filing systems to ensure that all project info is appropriately circulated and secured.
18) Monitor cash flow projections on regular basis (monthly).
19) To develop good rapport with neighborhood and local authorities.
20) To understand and follow up closely the entire process of getting CCC.
21) To monitor and update contractor performance on regular basis.
22) To create detailed work program which identifies sequence of activities needed to complete the project.
23) To lead, drive, motivate & provide coaching to site staff/subordinates for continues improvement and career development.
24) To anticipate potential problems and provide solution to the issues before affect project objectives.
25) To respond promptly on distributed letters/correspondences.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/ Construction Management / Architecture or any other qualifications related to building or construction industries.
• At least 10 years working experience in similar capacity with exposure to high rise residential or commercial projects, housing schemes and infra works.
• Has proven track record of completing the projects within budget, time frame and quality achieved.
• Independent, proactive, technically competent and team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possesses teamwork spirit, problem solving skills and able to work independently.
