    A renown insurance company is seeking for a Accounting & Tax Manager for Group level. The role consists of financial reporting and consolidation and you will be responsible for a broad spectrum of Group financial closing and reporting activities.

    Job Description

    • To be responsible for Group closing and reporting activities, including statutory reporting;  closing timelines and activities quarterly and half yearly, perform and review monthly closing of subsidiary accounts and reconciliations, prepare consolidation journal entries as well as prepare monthly consolidated financials
    • and liaise with external auditor during the annual audit process for half yearly financial statements.
    • To be responsible for reporting to head office; Address queries from Head Office with regards to the reporting pack

    Our client, a state-owned Chinese asset management company, is currently looking for a Fund Operation Manager for their operation in Hong Kong. This is a new headcount as a result of their fast expanding business.

    Job Description

    • Perform daily fund operation duties including trade affirmation, position reconciliations, cash management, corporate action and settlement
    • Work closely with other team members such as portfolio manager, trading, finance and compliance to ensure operational process is smooth
    • Liaise with fund custodian, fund administrator, executing brokers, external auditors and other service providers
    • Prepare & Review for valuation and NAV statements
    • Handle book keeping, account opening, subscription, redemption and monitor various fund operation issues
