Accountant (Accounts Receivable & General Ledger)

Permanent PositionOur client is seeking an experienced Accountant with expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL). The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing financial processes efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization while ensuring accuracy and process improvements across financial operations.Job Description
- Issue invoices and credit memos to clients in a timely manner
- Monitor overdue invoices, conduct follow-ups, and resolve outstanding issues efficiently
- Handle the collection process for customer payments
- Generate monthly reports on accounts receivable, including aging and AR analysis
- Manage provisions for bad debts, including regular reviews and recommendations for write-offs or provisioning
- Track intercompany receivables and follow up on collections between entities
- Evaluate and enhance internal controls, aiming to optimize the AR process
- Manage month-end closing, ensuring proper journal entries and conducting flux analysis
- Reconcile accounts and address aged balances proactively
- Coordinate with auditors and other stakeholders to ensure full compliance with statutory regulations

- Degree in Accounting or a related field required
- 4 years’ experience in AR and GL
- In-depth knowledge of local accounting, reporting, and tax standard
- External audit experience from the start of your career is value added
- Regional and hands-on experience with full spectrum of accounting is preferred.
- Understanding of accounting theory and application of principles and practices.
- Familiarity with financial record-keeping and reporting principles.
- Ability to prepare accurate and complete financial reports.

- Administer, monitor, maintain and optimize WAN, LAN and Wi-Fi networks for optimal performance and maximum availability.
- Ensure that all network devices (routers, switches, load balancers, wireless LAN controllers) and firewalls remain in good working condition.
- Configure, troubleshoot and resolve issues within network and security areas including performance and capacity issues.
- Provide technical support and consultation, conduct procurement and perform project management activities for enhancements and changes in network and security configuration.
- Update and document all network configuration, firmware, network diagrams and cabling for all end-devices.
