    Our client, an established bank is looking to fill the role of a Team Lead – Personal Banking Credit Approver to join their Risk Team.

    Job Description

    • Credit Policy Enhancement: Review and enhance credit policies and procedures for retail and private banking businesses. Assist in identifying and mitigating risks associated with new business initiatives.
    • Team Leadership: Lead the retail and private banking credit approval team within the Risk Management Department. Collaborate with various business units to ensure efficient processing of credit facilities.
    • Credit Approval: Approve retail and private banking credit facilities within the delegated approval authority.
    • Credit Facility Evaluation: Review and assess credit facility applications from business units, including credit cards, housing loans, premium financing loans, and other relevant financial products.
    • Compliance: Ensure that credit applications align with the Bank's credit guidelines and meet regulatory requirements. If necessary, escalate applications for higher-level approval.
    • Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor and review loan portfolios, such as credit card portfolios and private banking collateral shortfall monitoring. Identify potential risks and recommend mitigating actions.
    • Project Involvement: Participate in user requirements gathering and system enhancement projects, including User Acceptance Testing.
    Salary Range: SGD 6,500 - 11,500

    Job Description

    • Provide insights by analyzing spending and supply markets to facilitate demand aggregation and other initiatives aimed at enhancing overall efficiency and user experience.
    • Offer guidance to user divisions regarding procurement policies, appropriate procurement methods, and workflow procedures.
    • Examine and process tender documents to ensure strict adherence to procurement policies, ultimately leading to the approval and awarding of tenders in alignment with the designated approving and signing authority.
