RESPONSIBILITIES
- To perform a wide range of risk management functions including risk analysis, monitoring and reporting, valuation, risk system development, risk assessment on new products, stress testing, etc. covering market risk, interest rate risk and liquidity risk
- Ensure proper maintenance of the risk systems including the booking and risk mapping of asset and liability data and derivative transactions, as well as market data as recorded in system
- Perform risk system configurations for setup of risk factors, yield curves, stress scenarios to support risk measurement and stress testing
- Provide user requirements and conduct UAT for system development projects related to new products, internal system enhancement, regulatory reporting projects, group-wide consolidated reporting, etc.
- Perform risk analysis, measurement and valuation on the risk positions
- Maintain and develop risk reports for internal risk monitoring as well as regulatory reporting in accordance with the applicable regulatory standards and requirements
- Perform any ad hoc tasks assigned by the Department Head and senior management including the Asset & Liability Management Committee and other risk committees

REQUIREMENTS
- Over 5 years’ experience in the risk management of treasury and asset and liability management related areas in banking industry
- Hands-on experience in database management, Excel and statistical tools, e.g. SQL, VBA, SAS, etc.
- University degree in Finance, Risk Management or equivalent; holder of CFA or FRM an added advantage
- Good knowledge in treasury markets, products, local and international regulatory requirements, systems and accounting process, etc.
- Good interpersonal skills and a good team player

- Lead the team in managing classified loans portfolio
- Manage classified corporate loans portfolio to maximize the recovery for the bank; initiate and formulate appropriate recovery strategies and ensure the development accordingly
- Monitor the progress of classified corporate loans status and the proper and timely execution of the recovery strategy including disposal / liquidation of collateral
- Ensure consistency and integrity of collection and recovery actions through regular review of classified corporate accounts

- Good understanding of credit risk across different industries, business sectors and corporations; familiar with different business segments, including POE and SOE
- Professional qualification in CFA, FRM, ACCA or CPA; and Certification of EFC-CRM from HKIB would be advantage
- Sound knowledge in commercial lending /corporate lending, post-approval monitoring, credit risk management, HKMA loan classification and IFRS9
- Strong understanding in key market practices and industry dynamic
- Good understanding of legal and regulatory requirements and banking practices on credit risk management
- Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills with good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua

- To offer guidance on all matters of compliance, such as the Banking Act, Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act, Common Reporting Standards, Personal Data Protection Act, and the dissemination of information regarding new or revised requirements.
- To implement, revise, and update compliance-related policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence to local and Taiwanese laws as well as the global policy of the head office; to maintain the External Rule Database in order to track applicable regulatory obligations; and to maintain other registers on regulatory compliance-related issues.
- To establish, carry out, and maintain a continuous review program for compliance, including but not limited to issuing checklists, worksheets, and Compliance Statements to the Global Head of Compliance on a biannual basis.
- To plan and carry out the semi-annual Compliance Self Evaluation, including creating a report to be submitted to the Global Head of Compliance.
