Finance Manager/Senior Finance Manager

Permanent PositionOur client is looking for a seasoned Senior Finance professional to oversee accounting and finance operations for their multinational business. With strong analytical expertise and in-depth knowledge of international accounting standards, this role will also involve managing both internal and external audits.Job Description
- Lead the development and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Perform variance analysis to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Oversee accounting operations (AP/AR, month-end/year-end closings), ensuring the integrity of financial records.
- Implement internal controls and build relationships with auditors.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and manage financial operations across multiple countries.
- Consolidate financial results from international subsidiaries and manage foreign exchange exposure.
- Serve as the main point of contact for finance-related matters with stakeholders.
- Work closely with departments to provide financial insights and lead a high-performing team.
- Oversee tax planning, compliance, and reporting across various jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with external advisors to optimize tax efficiency and stay on top of regulatory changes.
- Lead internal and external audits, strengthening controls and addressing audit finding

- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 10 years of regional finance/accounting experience
- 5 years Leadership/People Management experience.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Strong IFRS knowledge, manufacturing cost accounting and experience in consolidating international subsidiaries.
- Preferred M&A integration and regulatory compliance experience.
- Proficient in SAP
- Fluent in English. Mandarin preferred to communicate with counterparts in China
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willing to travel internationally.

- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design and safety standards
- Identify and mitigate technical risks in the design and construction phases
- Resolve any technical issues and ensure design feasibility and site constructability
- Support the tender team in preparing technical tender documentation

- Oversee and manage derivatives trade processing across futures and options
- Ensure timely trade capture, validation, matching, and settlement across multiple exchanges and clearinghouses.
- Manage daily margin and collateral requirements with clearing brokers and counterparties.
- Ensure accurate clearing and settlement of trades in accordance with exchange rules and counterparty agreements.
