    Finance & Accounting Manager

    An experienced Finance & Accounting Manager is needed by one of Taiwan's largest privately owned banks to work in Singapore. In order to ensure that all MIS/Financial reporting complies with Singapore/International Financial Reporting Standards, you will support the Team Head of Financial Reporting & Tax.

    Job Description

    Financial Analysis 

    • Prepare/review/analyse the Financial Management Reports 

    Daily/Weekly 

    • Review the Nostro Reconciliation, and make sure to take prompt remedial action to deal with any unreconcilable items.

    Monthly 

    • Preparing the CPM File for Loans, Deposits, and Fees and uploading internal pricing entries to SAP by the second business day. Variance Analysis of Bankwide BS, IS, and OPEX (Preparer).
    • Preparation of financial performance on a monthly and quarterly basis for management and FICON as required by business
    • To assist in creating the slides and commentary for the monthly branch meeting
    • Assist in the creation of the budget and plan, monitor the performance of the business units, and provide the branch's chief executive officer with appropriate advice about each unit's performance.
    • Prepare the local book to performance book reconciliation.
    • Prepare loan and deposit balances on a regular basis for submission to HO for CB and the entire bank.
    • To collaborate closely with important stakeholders and serve as a business partner and advisor to business units
        

    Quarterly 

    • To help create the HO FICON-Quarterly basis of Business Strategies, Variances analysis of Key Financial
    • Ratios/Financial Drivers, International Financial Reporting Standards, and Tax Related Updates Conferencing Slides.
       

    Yearly 

    • To help with the annual Financial Statements preparation
    • To support the 5-year forecast and annual budget
    • Internal and HO Auditors were brought in to aid in the Year-End Audit (KPMG).
       
    1. To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the superior from time to time 
    2. Assist in other ad-hoc projects that are driven by Finance & Accounting Department

    • Effective financial accounting abilities (CA Singapore)
    • A working knowledge of accounting principles and how they apply to banking products.
    • Knowledge of management accounting, including profitability and cost analysis.
    • SAP and FCC system knowledge and comprehension.
