Regulatory Support
- Manage the development of regulatory strategies to support new product registration, line extensions, major variations & lifecycle management.
- Coordinate & manage post approval submissions for the assigned markets.
- Maintain licenses (e.g. Marketing Authorizations) and ensure that all regulatory activities(new product submissions, existing licenses, etc.) are handled in compliance with local regulations, ensuring corporate regulatory processes, SOP’s and systems are in place.
- Ensure submission packages are reviewed against local regulatory requirements of assigned markets for consistency and completeness
- Responsible for ensuring that all regulatory activities (new product submissions, existing licenses, etc.) are compliant with local regulations, requirements and practices.
- Ensure that the appropriate regulatory systems and database are updated in a timely manner for assigned markets.
- Ensure that RA team provide strategic regulatory input into regional regulatory strategies, thus providing optimal support for meeting business objectives.
- Provide input to relevant stakeholders for the development of products in-line with business objectives, ensuring strategies are adequately reflected in relevant country plans & alignment is achieved between regulatory activities and relevant country business/commercial plans.
- Provide consultative and intelligence support to internal stakeholders.
- Advise where necessary, on the development of responses to regulatory queries, including coordination on the receipt, distribution and response to regulatory queries on assigned projects, consistent with departmental procedures.
- Develop strong partnerships with in-country (e.g. Commercial Lead, Medical, Marketing, Supply Chain) & above country to facilitate the development & implementation of registration strategies to expedite the registration of new products, line extensions and life-cycle optimization.
Communication
- Monitors, analyzes, interprets and informs HRA regarding regulatory trends and events including changes in regulatory guidelines, regulatory environment issues, regulations, competitor intelligence and external meetings concerning regulatory matters.
- Support HRA in anticipating changes in country registration policies and guidelines and keeps relevant internal stakeholders informed of changes in the regulatory environment.
Management
- Participate in the relevant Regulatory Affairs meetings and support HRA in encouraging interdepartmental communication.
Inventory Support
- Support HRA in coordinating with Supply Chain (and other relevant stakeholders), to ensure stock availability to assigned markets, while strategically plan stocks availability for new product launches. Marketing Support
Regulatory Compliance
- Be accountable for regulatory compliance (of records and systems) within the area of responsibilities.
- Supports HRA to ensure registered products are maintained in full compliance with all relevant legislation and SOP procedures. Project Management

Experience

- Extensive knowledge and experience of synthetic chemistry, analytical chemistry, reaction engineering, modeling, process development and scale-up principles, process validation and technical transfers.
