    In view of business expansion in Singapore, our client is in search of an experienced Accountant to handle Consolidation and full-set accounting responsibilities, including month-end closing and financial report preparation. This role also involves establishing processes and internal controls to uphold governance within the accounting function.

    Job Description

    • General accounting duties including consolidation, taxation, bank reconciliation, provisions, accruals and balance sheet reconciliation.
    • Oversee all aspects of cost accounting processes, including but not limited to cost allocation, cost analysis, and inventory valuation.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements related to cost accounting.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in cost accounting and related fields.
    • Coordinate and prepare transfer pricing documentations for the group to ensure that the compliance of transfer pricing regulations
    • Group reporting. Monthly, quarterly and yearly closing.
    • Handles Account Payables & Account Receivables
    • Preparation of financial statement and management reporting. Handle company tax and reporting
    • Analysis. Explain the story behind the numbers and propose solutions.
    • To support internal and external audits.
    Salary Range: SGD 5,000 - 6,000

    Requirements

    • 5-8 years’ experience in accounting with Consolidation, cost accounting, full sets of accounts and taxation.
    • Degree in Accounting or professional qualifications in ACCA or CPA
    • Competent technical skills and good analytical ability.
    • Good communication skills. Fluency in English & Mandarin to liaise with Chinese speaking associates and users.
    • Strong in MS Office applications: Excel.
    • Knowledge in latest financial reporting standards and especially Singapore corporate tax is a requirement.
    • Prior experience from audit firm.
    • Experience with SAP systems, particularly used in manufacturing environments, is a plus.
