    Senior Accountant

    Our client is looking for a Finance professional with accounting experience in retail or premium brands, skilled in full sets of accounts, reporting, and cash flow, proficient in SAP and Excel.

    Job Description

    • Handle full sets of accounts in accordance with global accounting guidelines and local GAAP.
    • Perform end-to-end accounting functions using SAP, including processing payments.
    • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), including retail sales reconciliation.
    • Manage Accounts Payable (AP), invoice coding, and validation of staff claims.
    • Prepare and file withholding tax and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
    • Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules and ensure proper reconciliation.
    • Prepare monthly financial reporting pack for Manager’s review.
    • Prepare accurate weekly cash flow forecasts and highlight cash flow positions to Management.
    • Prepare monthly gross turnover reports for Management review and submission to landlords.
    • Handle annual inventory counts for boutiques and warehouse in coordination with the Sales Operations team and external auditors.
    • Manage fixed assets, including asset tagging and proper recording of asset movements.
    • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary to ensure timely completion of accounting, GST, corporate tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
    • Support the Finance Manager in coordinating board resolutions and XBRL filings when required.
    • Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by the Manager.

    Requirements

    • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience in retail, preferably within luxury or premium brands.
    • Experience handling full sets of accounts, monthly financial reporting, and cash flow forecasting.
    • Exposure to multi-entity reporting will be an advantage.
    • Familiar with GST/VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax compliance requirements.
    • Knowledge of fixed asset management and asset tracking.
    • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
    • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work under tight deadlines.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with regional teams.
    • Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin as this role requires communicating with Chinese internal and external stakeholders.

    Job Description

    • Oversee the planning, execution and completion of upgrading, improvement and maintenance projects within the estates
    • Oversee the full project lifecycle from feasibility, procurement, execution to project close-out.
    • Manage contractors, consultants and stakeholders to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in compliance with regulatory requirements
    • Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
    • Plan and manage cyclical R&R works for common areas including Concrete repairs, Repainting, Waterproofing works, Floor resurfacing and retiling works, Replacement/repair of ceiling boards and facade elements
    • Manage defects liability period (DLP) and ensure timely rectification.
    • Handle residents’ feedback relating to ongoing works; Stakeholder management 
    • Monitor contractor and consultants’ performance and enforce safety and quality standards.

    Requirements
