    Job Description

    • In managing key strategic projects and initiatives, the compliance lead serves as the central point of contact.
    • Support of strategic projects and initiatives, design and develop risk and compliance frameworks and policies.
    • Work with relevant business units to address regulatory requirements and put in place appropriate risk mitigation measures.
    • Develop new regulatory, sales compliance, and financial crime processes, as well as review existing ones.
    • Report to relevant governance forums on a regular and/or ad hoc basis.

    Finance Accountant

You will be reporting to the Finance manager and responsible to perform all the tasks encompassed in an accountancy role. This includes the closing of monthly, quarterly and year-end accounts for Singapore managed entities. Preparing statutory, management reports and liaising with internal and external parties for any financial related matters. Review of monthly accounting activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

    Job Description

    • Complete set of accounts/month end reporting for a few organizations under tight deadlines, including but not limited to account analysis and reconciliation, and journal entry preparation
    • Deliver monthly Hyperion reports, reconcile balance sheet items in Cadency - Trintech system, submit tax package to HQ in OneSource system, and offer ad hoc reports to APAC controller
    • Prepare audit schedules, including monthly loan and interest schedules, and bill relevant firms for service fees.
    • Ensure that the intercompany balances with partners are reconciled in Hyperion on a monthly basis
    • Prepare monthly inventory reconciliations, quarterly obsolescence and slow-moving stock provisions, and PII (profit in inventory) analyses. Agent margin/commission calculation/AR interest calculation
    • Coordinate with shared service provider and other parties to ensure accurate and timely reporting
    • Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, bankers, corporate secretarial agents, local tax officer, government authorities where required.
    • Handle internal audit queries and requests
    • Assist with and assure compliance with all finance and tax filing needs (VAT/GST/WHT/CIT/Statistics, etc.).
    • Cash flow management: produce cash flow prediction projections quarterly and yearly, as well as forex hedging reporting (submit forecast data to intercompany partners).
    • Submit annual budget and quarterly forecast
    • Collaborate closely with other departments to streamline processes and offer technical accounting advice. Drive SEA+ initiatives for direct entities (SG, TH, etc.)
    • Coordinate intercompany/transfer pricing maintenance with appropriate stakeholders and the HQ pricing team.
    • Keeping track of opex in BW and distributing reports to budget owners on a monthly basis
    • Collaborate with accounting agent on CN/invoice issuance and with IT on BI upload
    • As necessary, complete any financial reports, special projects, or analyses.

    • At least 8 years of accounting experience in a computerized and fast paced setting
