DevSecOps Specialist

Permanent PositionOur client is looking for an experienced DevSecOps Specialist to lead and embed DevSecOps practices across engineering teams by integrating security into the software delivery lifecycle while enabling secure, scalable and rapid innovation.Job Description
- Act as a senior technical advisor driving the DevSecOps strategy across engineering teams.
- Define and deliver a DevSecOps roadmap to strengthen and mature the organization’s security posture.
- Embed security as a shared responsibility within engineering cultures, processes and workflows.
- Design, build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with security controls integrated throughout the SDLC.
- Lead and mentor engineers on secure coding, threat modeling, vulnerability management and advanced security practices.
- Develop and implement automation for security testing including SAST, DAST and SCA.
- Establish and manage vulnerability management, risk assessment and threat modeling programs.

- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps or related roles with a strong focus on cybersecurity.
- Proven experience in a senior or lead role driving large-scale DevSecOps or security initiatives.
- Hands-on expertise in securing CI/CD pipelines and building cloud-native applications.
- Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Python, Go or Java.
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD platforms, cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP) and container technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
- Practical experience with security tooling and practices including SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets management and scanning.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and understanding of SDLC methodologies.
