    Our client is one of a reputable and renowned financial institution seeking a dynamic and meticulous investment leader to join the organization. As a Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the investment assets and investment managers of the organization. As Chairman of the Investment Committee and member of Asset-Liability Committee, the role supports the Board and IC to fulfill responsibilities in respect to investment and investment-related matters.

    Job Description

    • Accountable for the overall investment management strategies, risk and compliance, operations and performance delivery for Company’s assets
    • Establish an institutional framework and effective investment process to drive the delivery of a sustainable value proposition in terms of asset allocation, portfolio performance, risk budgeting and product development for all of Company’s assets.
    • Develop Strategic Asset Allocation, Asset Liability Management and other investment strategies over short-term and long-term to implement the investment process and capital allocation across Company’s assets including the Investment-Linked Products sub-funds.
    • Ensure all investment risks are identified and appropriately managed. Evaluate investment opportunities, identify new market trends and periods of asset mispricing to recommend cross asset value arbitrage and asymmetric risk-reward trades.
    • Lead an effective investment team with qualified professionals to achieve the investment objectives, set investment mandates and oversee outsourced portfolios to fund managers.
    • Foster close collaboration with rest of the BUs and render business support and professional advice to other stakeholders when required

    Requirements

    • Bachelor degree or post-graduate degree in relevant field of Finance or Accounting
    • Minimum 15 years of investment experience in a blue-chip asset management organization or insurance.
    • Prior working experience with insurance companies: ALM, managing and selection of fund managers and product development for life insurance
    • Knowledgeable and experienced in managing a broad range of asset classes, whether directly or indirectly, across different markets

    Job Description

    • Manage on-boarding information flow through CRM tool.
    • Manage on-boarding contact plan and coordinate with Customer Service on new accounts list
