    Senior Account Servicing Manager, Team Lead

    A top performing international life insurance company with an ambitious growth plan is on the lookout for Employee Benefits Account Servicing Managers. You will be focusing on servicing and maintaining of renewal business for Employee Benefits business through the multiple distribution channel. You will report to the Head of Account Management, and be expected to contribute to the growth and shape your team to meet future demands as well as supporting the sales team to win new clients. This will include managerial responsibilities within the team.

    Job Description

    • Leading a team of experienced account managers to provide consulting advice and solutions to clients for all distribution channels – Direct, Agency and Banca
    • Strong knowledge in system enhancement, UAT testing and Flexi Benefits is preferred.
    • Utilising substantial risk expertise and knowledge of industry and insurance market place to review clients’ exposures and loss experience to develop solutions for moderately complex clients’ needs, including recommending additional products and services as solutions.
    • Needs-based consulting, identifying and actioning cross sell opportunities, with knowledge of client profiling and ability to recognize and be sensitive to client needs and priorities.
    • Presenting, developing and executing renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with Placement, Advisory Leaders and senior Client Executives.
    • Partnering with Placement to receive, negotiate and evaluate quotes from carriers and presents the evaluations to clients.
    • Participating in presentations to prospective clients, identifies the need for new products and develops/suggests innovative solutions to client and client team members to gain new clients and projects.
    • Supervising and mentoring direct reports in their daily work, as applicable.
    • Strong interpersonal and people leadership/management skills, effective communicator, self-awareness and emotional intelligence.

    Job Description

    • A team player who delivers distinctive client values by providing a holistic approach to benefits consulting. He/she is required to hold direct client relationship with all accounts assigned and deliver service within clients’ expectation.
    • Develop strong client relationship and understand the needs of clients on employee benefits and ensure placement with clients’ selected insurer/ program.
    • Strong knowledge in system enhancement, UAT testing and Flexi Benefits is preferred.
    • Responsible for monitoring and ensuring that the services being provided to the client are in line with the centralized guidance and in conjunction with general Service Level Agreements. 
    • Help clients monitor their employee benefit programs by providing aggregated reporting with a view to ensuring a level of governance and consistency with their objectives while offering optimal cost-effective solutions.

    2. Lead the day-to-day responsibility for the management of the Institute’s existing and planned education provision, including development of learning materials and all assessments.

    Requirements

    • A first degree in Finance/Banking/Education/Instructional Design and Technology/Curriculum or its equivalent with 15 years’ experience either in banking or education. A Master’s degree in Banking or Education is advantageous.
    • A knowledge of the Financial Services industry in Malaysia, its key players, its regulation and supervision and its global standing.
    • Possess advanced knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design principles and current learning delivery modality/approaches (blended learning, social learning, hybrid learning and collaborative learning).
    • A detailed understanding of quality assurance and control in the educational context.
