Finance Related Matters
- Manage daily MEP checking and payment approvals (HSBCnet), Payroll Posting, Accrual Posting, Unused Leave Posting.
- Check and ensure all accounting entries are correctly booked and complete and do Management Accounts reconciliation, manage Credit Limit, Voucher Workflow approval
- Result estimation at every end month, reconcile and analyze monthly result and Monthly billing of Regional expenses to HQ
- Coordinate & facilitate internal & external Audits to effectively communicate and ensure that requirements are adhered to Filing Annual Tax Return
- Ensure the tasks are carried out in compliance with operating standards, company rules & regulations and statutory requirements (eg. Quarterly GST Tax Filing, Transfer Pricing Documentation with consultant etc)
- HR, Investment Workflow application
- HQ reporting - Quarterly Reporting and IFRS 16 submission to HQ

Human Resource Related Matters
- Plan, review & manage the Human Resources activities by optimizing internal &/or external resources / Posting of Job ad to employment website

- Drafting of Official Company Letters (LOA, LOE, Allowance, Confirmation Letter, Warning Letter, Termination etc)

- CorpPass administrator, application or access to government related portals (IRAS, MOM)

- Review and maintaining Company Policies, make sure it is adhered to
- Monitor and self-update on Government Policies/Grants, make sure that we are following rules/applying Grants

Secretarial Related Matters
- Annual Statutory Filing of Financial Year / Doc preparation for AGM
- Liasing with Secretarial Agent on Director Resolution

Main Tasks
- Preparation of financial statements, monthly profit and loss reporting
- Preparation and submission of statistical returns to HO and local banking regulators
- Maintenance of financial static data
- Chart of Accounts and booking processes
- Responsible for all accounting related matters
- Nostro account reconciliation
- Corporate Tax and GST filing
- Reporting on the valuations of securities and derivatives
- Supporting the Asia Branches on all Finance matters
More specifically
- Supporting Head Office on the IFRS & Accounting reconciliation through various processes developed by HO
- Represent Finance in all other relevant management meetings To attend to new/changes in reporting requirements and /or changes in Accounting Standards
- In coordination with Head Office: to implement accounting policies meeting Head Office guidelines/policies and also meeting the local regulatory requirements
- Preparation of various monthly and periodic returns for Head Office
- Represent Finance in all Regional NPP’s (New Product Process) and coordinate matters/requirements on accounting issues
- To prepare the Annual Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statement as per Head Office requirements and to attend to matters relating the preparation of the Statutory Accounts for the filing with the Registrar of Companies of Singapore
- To monitor and implement all relevant Tax incentives
- To produce all statistical, management reports daily, monthly, annually for branch management and Head Office
- To attend to the Bank’s corporate tax filing, verification and submission of claims for refund of Goods & Services Tax and including quarterly submissions and other all tax matters related to Bank
- To attend and co-ordinate with HO on projects that are implemented or initiated by Head Office
- To liaise/share/answer the standard procedures which are implemented in the branch
- Improve and standardize Finance processes in the region
