    Procurement Team Lead

    Singapore

    Permanent Position
    An established multinational company dealing with Cargo Handling Services is seeking for a Procurement Team Lead to provide guidance and support to its operations. Our ideal Procurement Team Lead candidate for this role should have had prior Procurement related experience with good communication and problem solving skills, preferably with hands-on procurement solutions experience as well.

    Job Description

    • Responsible to identify, manage and resolve unforeseen issues and circumstances quickly with the team members and drive PO adoption for Asia region.
    • Develop and maintain good working relationship with all key stakeholders both internal and external organization. 
    • In-charge of planning, applying and tracking initiatives to achieve team's and function's targets. 
    • Verify and check pending POs at buyer's end periodically.
    • Ensure all QC processes are in place as well as propose improvement strategies when necessary to simplify and enhance overall processes and procedures. 
    • Perform root cause analysis and prepare reports on the identified areas of improvement, present the findings and suggest solutions.
    • Keep track of the progress and closure of addressed work-related issues with the appropriate person/team/department-in-charged.
    • Complete necessary set-up work timely and accurately to ensure excellent customer experience.
    • Ensure all services and works are delivered in compliance with Global Company guidelines, code of conduct, policies, procedures, controls and legal requirements.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business is preferred.
    • Experience in a procurement related role, preferably with hands-on experience with procurement solutions.
    • Prior experience in handling indirect procurement is a plus. 
    • Experience in handling complex query. 
    • Customer-centric with good communication and problem solving skill.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

    An established multinational company dealing with Cargo Handling Services is seeking for a Procurement Specialist to perform daily procurement related activities. Our ideal Procurement Specialist candidate for this role should have had prior Procurement related experience with good communication and problem solving skills, preferably with hands-on procurement experience as well.

    Job Description

    • Responsible in handling daily procurement activities including processing and validating Purchase Requisitions (PR), processing purchase orders (PO), managing purchasing document changes and cancellations, performing receipt, handling returns, performing operational reporting, catalog management; help desk services to internal and external customers.
    • Good understanding of Source-to-Receipt processes.
    • Responsible to be the point of contact with external stakeholders for all follow up in regards to purchasing inquiries, documents, issues and transactions.
    • Deliver service in line with agreed controls and procedures.
    • Maintain good working relationships within the other process teams and internal stakeholders.
    • Recognize unusual events or consistent problems and work with team members to resolve issues.
    • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and proactively suggest methods to streamline, simplify, and enhance processes and procedures.
    • Work closely as a team and provide support to the new and less experienced team members.
    • Participate in transition activities when applicable such as supporting the functional work stream and the transition of processes including knowledge transfer and work shadowing.
    • Perform any ad-hoc activities as per request of direct superior.
    • Ensure all services and works are conducted in compliance with Global Company guidelines, code of conduct, policies, procedures, controls and legal requirements.
